I have recently been asked about socialization. Is this really still a thought/fear of those who don’t homeschool? 🤔
Seven days week my boys are with other kids/adults for regularly activities: volleyball, baseball, golf, Pickleball, weight lifting at the gym, hiking group, co op classes, community college, life guarding, umping, helping with autistic kids, helping out at Awana, youth group, camping with friends, church and Sunday school. This may sound really busy but it doesn’t feel that way, thankfully because I have a driver who takes himself to work, college classes, the gym, baseball practice and takes his younger brother to volleyball practice. So that’s a lot off my plate. 😅
And someone said to me a few weeks ago, well it’s good they are in college class so they can be around other people. Huh? I had to explain that I look forward to days where I can be home for that day, even if I’m out for sports in the evening.
Tell me. Do those who don’t homeschool still think we sit at home daily and teach our kids every subject?
My biggest thing is energy and organization. 🤣 bed early to get up early to have some uninterrupted time to myself. How can I help others if I don’t take care of myself? What are your super mom secrets?🙌🏻
