Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by! I’m Allison momma to Jackson, Connor, Brady and Keegan, married to Peter and we live in Pennsylvania, Philly suburb girl here! Our life is beautiful and crazy, but we love each other, despite all the fighting my boys do and we are a work in process.

A little about me and how I got here...

I went to Villanova for accounting. But became a computer programmer creating websites in the mid 90s. This lasted for a few years before I became a stay at home mom and have never looked back!
In my 20s I had some challenges with endometriosis which started me on my health and wellness journey, my true passion. I even blogged my journey to eliminate a cyst in my ovary with fasting! And now have a desire to help people by sharing my story and educating they that there is a better way. ⁣

Fast forward to when my first son was born, Jackson. As a toddler he decided to spray Shower Power in his mouth!  Needless to say I spent a lot of my early parenting years talking to Poison Control! Although I had started my journey in the 90s with food, I didn't make the connection between cleaning chemicals and health until much later. ⁣
Currently, I’m a homeschool mom of 2 boys, private school mom of 1 and a college mom! Whew! Thankfully we got a girl minipoodle last year to balance us out and to add to the craziness! And I thought homeschooling only two would make life easier. I guess the homeschooling part is, but I feel like I’m driving all over the place even more and trying to stay connected with the two older boys who I don’t homeschool anymore! But picking up at school or the bus stop and driving back to college (an hour away), is a lot!
Today, I am thoroughly enjoying teaching people and sharing my love for natural health, fitness and homeschooling. I am by no means perfect!⁣
I am passionate about empowering moms, homeschool moms, & women in general so they can take charge of their family’s health.

If you’ve been following along on social media, you know I’ve been loving the process of milling my own flour! I’d like to invite you to a cozy evening where I’ll show you how it’s done, and we’ll enjoy a simple, homemade dinner together.

We’ll have delicious soup, fresh salad, and, of course, warm rolls made with the flour we mill that night. Plus, you’ll get to take home a baked good to share with your family!
